I am a Vanier Scholar pursuing a PhD studying infectious disease epidemiology at the University of Toronto’s Dalla Lana School of Public Health in Toronto, Canada. My research focuses on COVID-19, antibiotic resistance, and antibiotic stewardship. I am advised by Dr. Kevin Brown at Public Health Ontario and Dr. David Fisman in the Epidemiology Division.
I completed my master’s degree in epidemiology in 2018 at McGill University. I studied antibiotic resistance in Québec under the supervision of Dr. David Buckeridge of McGill’s Surveillance Lab and Dr. Caroline Quach at the University of Montréal.
I am a co-founder of the COVID-19 Canada Open Data Working Group and a founding editor of the University of Toronto Journal of Public Health.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, I have been a frequent guest on radio and television broadcasts including CBC Radio’s Metro Morning and CTV News. I have also been interviewed for numerous stories by outlets such as the Toronto Star and the Globe & Mail.
